Q. What is the difference between your certification program and other on-line programs?
A. There are two major differences:
1. Our program is actually ServSafe - not some other food safety program offered when you are searching for ServSafe on-line.
2. Time, convenience and less stress for you.
Other ServSafe courses require that you take the certification exam at their location. We come to you, when you are ready. This means less stress for you in having to drive or take transportation to the exam location, finding it, worrying about getting there on time, getting and paying for parking and the costs of gasoline.
Q. What kind of help do you provide so that I pass the ServSafe exam?
A. We provide detailed study notes, use of the most recent ServSafe Course book (or you can purchase it from ServSafe), over ten practice quizzes, and two practice study exams to get you ready for the actual ServSafe exam. Plus phone help and support when you have any questions.
Q. Can I get the entire on-line course from ServSafe and then you administer the exam?
A. Yes, you can get the entire course on line from ServSafe here. We will then go to your location and administer the exam for $89.00.
Q. I know that some areas have special requirements for taking the course and test. How do I know if my area is one of them?
A. You can check the requirements for your area here.
Q. How long does it take to actually get the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certificate?
A. You can print out the results of your on-line exam once you have taken it. The print out is acceptable to the regulatory agency or health department in your area. The actual certificate (good for five years) is mailed to you from ServSafe, and it arrives in the mail 7-10 days from the date of taking the exam.
Q. What do I need to do next to get started?
A. Call us at 610.810.1778 or email us (raydearmas@earthlink.net) We'll provide you access to the password protected Members Area so that you can review the course and schedule a date for the actual exam.
